Brilliant - read that from start to finish.

My observations...

David Platt, what a c**t! Sorry, what a useless c**t!

Nigel Doughty, what a gentleman.

Billy Davies, what a legend you could have been (but cannot forgive your almost pathological desire not to nurture young talent).

Colin Calderwood and Paul Hart, good boys who did right by us.

David Platt, WHAT A C**T!!!

Too much to take in, but I will thank Doughty and tell him where he went wrong too.

Harts football could have been world beating, and after trying to repair, did it again with BD and SM, Football will win unless we have gazillions.

Really interesting read and insight into how football passion and business sense for an individual gets confused.

Emotional appointment of David Pratt after Euro 96 and Italian playing experience as the continental influx takes hold.

Appointment of David Bleat post Pratt to add realism into transfer dealings and support the development of ND's legacy The Academy.

Fear of failure and belief in backing the 5 year plan with first Harty and then CC (albeit CC would have taken us down!)

Mr Chips Davies ( David Pratt 2 in disguise!). The lone voice of reason in our transfer dealings ?..............Mr Bleat but vilified at the time by us all!

The others just Yes Men hiding under the desk everytime ND wanted a new engine for his train set?

Conclusion £75M blown, best expectation is a club sale for a £1 plus a divi if and when we ever reach the promised land.

ND's henchmen if they had any integrity should have stood up and prevented any the deviations from the plan or shown principle and resigned.

Our problem going forward is while we are a great opportunity for a buyer the bankers are in charge of the sale and will delay taking the hit for the estate until it is too late. Those in charge of the club show no signs of having the wherewithall to put their own deal together and force the issue of a sale with the Estate who in reality hold a poor hand as they hold debt which the club have no way of repaying and no tangible assets to cash in.

If Frank Clark wants to save the club he should dump the NFFC board and go hire a top dealmaker CEO+Number Cruncher on the current boards salary plus a mega commission bonus for wheeling in an investor. Any unfair dismissal claims should be defended with the evidence of the performance figures and the failure to make any significant commercial deals over the last 12 years!

Paying out any employment claim would represent great business if it sorts out a sale of our club but it requires an act of great courage and leadership to dig us out of a hole where those in charge of negotiations on both sides have the same vested interest as turkeys not voting for Christmas!

Where is the Leadership coming from???????????????? The silence as ever is deafening!

I'm getting worried now, either your joining Looney Planet or I'm becoming sane! Wink
