When Forest allowed McCleary Anderson Chambers Lynch & Morgan to go we unsettled the squad

Gunter moved to a higher league & at this point in time to a better team, we netted a few Mil so no hard feelings

Chambers & Lynch went for free & both moved to lesser teams.

I think they both stuck two fingers up at Forest & left knowing we would have no defenders. Both knew that they would have contracts with Forest if they stayed & would have been in pole position to be the no 1 pairing for Forest.

Hate him, Hate Wes Morgan Hate any grunt that thinks they are better than Nottingham Forest FC, Flock Um!

Hope we don't get them in the Cup, will we still wish them well? Flock Um, now the enemy!

I really don't understand why fans get upset at players choosing to move on to another club. They are not fans of Forest, like us; they are career sportsmen wanting secure futures for themselves and their families and wishing to play at as high a level as they can. Gunter is not from Nottingham hopefully he will have good memories of his time at the club but he wil be no more of a fan of us than of Tottenham.

When he was talking to Reading (and with the knowledge and support of Forest!) he was simply seeking to further his career; he knew a new manager was coming in who might not have liked him and put him in the reserves; he might have been playing once more in a struggling Forest team, suffer poor form or an injury and lose his one chance of playing in the Premiership. Who can blame him?

Would we stay in our current jobs if the future at that company was uncertain and we had an offer of a better more challenging position elsewhere?

Above all, we can't criticise him for his commitment and work ethic when he was at the club. So, I wish him all the best, until we meet up with him next season in the Premiership, of course!

I think fans should get upset, he left us and wanted to whilst in contract with us.

I understand the draw of Premiership, more wages and to further his career.

The bit that is not acceptable, is that the new board are being questioned for letting him go, it is worry but they had to do that, and £2.3 million for a player wanting out is AOK.

I do not wish him well, I hope we get promoted Reading get Relegated!

Good business as he has his weaknesses especially in the air at the far post.

I think Maloney will fill his boots and be more solid all round.
