SC obviously failed to make a favourable impression during his meeting with the new owners yesterday, when he was given the opportunity to convince them he is the right man for the job in light of the newly established regime.

Would not be surprised to see a new manager lauded at the press conference on Saturday!

I haven't actually seen a name that I like in any of the rumours, and none of them are better than SC either. Harry has already said no on BBC website. Colin, McCarthy, Ferguson, McCleish are no better than Cotts.

I think he has been treated poorly. Glad he had a couple or so years left on his contract so he'll have received decent compensation.

Am feeling a little apprehensive about what might be coming our way again.

I feel sorry for SC and he should have been given a chance like Billy was after he kept us up in a difficult season.

My money would be on Warnock...Al-Hasawi wanted him back for QPR whne he was in negotiaitons to buy them and he said in that Kuwaiti Times article a couple of weeks back Warnock would be his choice.

that sounds like they don't have a manager to start immediately, but I would not be surpised if we hear another announcement by the weeked....purely because Al-Hasawi said he wanted to get the team an dplayers in within a week, so we could have a decent preseason with everyone....

only a month to go until the seaons starts, things are hotting up!...but its starting to feel like it did this time last year and look how that panned out. I really hope they ar elistening to Frank!
