Maple Leaf are the press rumour as a serious bidder for the club. Check out their venues and teams in Canada and see how they promote sports, sponsors and get bums on seats. Forest brand would be a great fit as we have some history and underutilized global brand that will be attractive to Group who has built teams from scratch.

Nottingham is also a great location to enable them to exploit other sports and leisure facilities Ice Hockey, Concerts, Rugby etc, plus the opportunity to build a mega events and sports stadia!

The Toronto Maple Leafs are a massive ice hockey club. They're in a similar predicament to us...massive club with an amazing history but haven't won anything for a while. The last trophy was the Stanley Cup back in 1967.
I personally think this man is the preferred bidder. He also owns the Toronto Raptors basketball club and Toronto FC.
Added to this the guy owns major stakes in a lot of tv and media in Canada and sports stadiums. He's a sports fan and the Maple Leafs are such a massive franchise with so much revenue from commercial sales he can only be good for us.
Plus Toronto FC have a snazzy home kit and play in red and recently their captain was none other than ex-Forest left back Jim Brennan who is now the assistant general manager of the club.

Chances are we'd get sponsored by Molsons....nice beer and hilarious adverts

The club sale situation is unique as the current board have no influence on events as it is the NED Estate that will make the decision not the NFFC board. The owners are minus £100M down based on current commitments. It's a buyers market so the fans should make their views known to any serious bidder..

Fan power in this instance can make a difference so lets get off our bottoms and show this type of potential owner just what a great opportunity buying our club and more importantly buying into our city is. After all who outside the A52 and old Fosse Way has heard of Diereby and Fester???????????????
