"We have to create an environment and philosophy where we let players express themselves," said O'Driscoll, who ended a short spell - without playing a competitive game - as manager of Crawley Town in order to return to the City Ground.

"We have some really good players," he added, "so if we can let them do that then hopefully we will get the right kind of football. Hopefully people will enjoy what they see at the City Ground whether we win, lose or draw.
