Well, well, well, QPR you crafty buggers.

By allowing Barton to go to Fleetwood on loan he will have completed his ban by the 13th October instead of 17th November if he had stayed at QPR.

This is because Fleetwood are scheduled to play more games than a premiership club so therefore QPR get him back a month early.

This has been pointed out to the FA (who will do FA) and Man city the team he tried to beat up single handed.

A blatant abuse of the rules.

I say extend his ban if that's the case.
