Except that at the start of the article it says he would be straight back with us on loan, so it might be a genius bit of business

We might be ok if you believe wht is being said in twitter world.....because a deal to sell could be done this week.....but then again the same rumours suggest we'd have a new manager.....personally I'd take us not doing a deal if we can keep cotts tbh

Yeah, I saw that Ripley, but starting next season with 'loanees' in defence is hardly what I'd call building for the future.

When does pre season start ?

The whole business of managing players at the City Ground is completely out of control. The directors of the club have no idea how to deal with players. It is hoped that someone will step forward to sort out the sorry mess while we still have a few players left. The way our club is run is a joke, it saddens me to see just how far this great club has fallen. The problem isn't with the manager or the players, it is with the so called board of directors. Cotterill will start the season with a five a side team and left to beg or borrow some players to fill in the gaps. What a way to mount a challenge on the Championship.

I dont think Jamal will leave, I hope not anyway.

Still plenty of uncertainty at the CG, somethings got to happen soon.

I think what is "or not" happening at the City Ground shows just how much Nigel Doughty was involved in the day to day running. Since his sad death everything seems to have stopped. The club doesn't seem to have any direction. No one knows what to do. In one way the fact that we no longer have the Doughty millions is probably a good thing, the club now has no option but to pay it's way. We obviously need someone to come in to help finance the club, maybe the directors could dig a bit deeper into their pockets?
I agree with Pauly that something has to happen soon. The sooner the better and definitely before pre season training.

I suppose 5 million, if that's true is too good to turn down. Plus add on's etc could make us a tidy bit of money.

Personally i'd like him to reach his potential with us and then god only knows what he could be worth, was expecting him to play next season with some other young uns but if we keep letting players leave we'll have a team full of loanees!!
