i must admit i was scathing and critical of forest after the season ended and with good reason and i was not looking forward to the up and coming season....as the take over dragged on and players flew the trees for pastures new it looked no clearer and we looked a doomed club to struggle with a squad that lacked depth and bodies as the season got closer....weeks went by has no news was forth coming other than cotts flying off to the states to check the pre-season tour there.....but in the space of a week the whole picture changed the take over was complete...then cotts was sacked after a few days and the hunt was on for a new man to take charge ,,,,we all new what happened after that so i won,t go into it......now with 10 days to go ..we have a squad thats slowly building up into a decent team the arab brothers have started to splash the cash for good players and it seems more are in the pipeline ....am i more optimistic for the coming season...... yes altho i think we will finish in the top 10 (top3 would be nice)i think we need this season to gel as team and with the money they have just add one or two more quaility players then a good push next season for the prem...the only down side for me was letting gunter go yes i hear he wanted to go but they could have tried to keep him...yes elv mate the positives are flowing again after a season to forget i hope forest can finally deliver the prem status once more in my life time....come on you reds
